NEWSFLASH!: Ailish delivered a healthy
filly on the morning of July 2nd! We've named her Freya, and she's
doing extremely well! She is for sale, so visit her page HERE.
Ailish is
our 14.3hh Gypsy Vanner
mare. She was imported from Ireland in January 2004 along with Kiah.
She
is a very elegant mare, with tons of mane, tail and feathering! She has a
very high play drive, and loves to express herself during play sessions. She is very well built, but not extremely stocky.
One of her most interesting
facial features is her eyebrow spot
above her left eye. It adds to her playful
"horsenality".
She passed that particular marking onto her
filly,
Lilikoi who was born on Good Friday 4.9.2004. Lilikoi is Hawaiian for "Passion Fruit." The following
year, on June 27, 2005, Zaira was born.
Zaira is a variation of
Sarah, which means princess. Exactly one year later, on June 27,
2006, Ailish had another filly. We named her Isabella, and she is
full sister to Zaira. Isabella and Ailish made up the equine section of
our Expo/Inspection team in 2006-2007, introducing many horse lovers to
the breed.
