Moon is my sister Alora's clever miniature horse gelding. In October 2003 we brought him home in the back of our Ford Explorer. After a 5-hour drive
(in which he gave a number of drivers passing us a fright when he let
out a friendly whinny...)he
arrived at the ranch
then officially the shortest of our horses.

In fall of 2004, Moon won champion Miniature Horse at the Northeast
Washington Fair. He has consistently done well at subsequent years
he's shown. He is also enjoying ground driving training with Alora,
and is and athletic jumper as well.
