Saturday

On Saturday, we weren't quite sure what we were going to do at first. I wanted to go back to the Equine Affaire, because I had wanted to get Honza to sign my shirt, and I hadn't been able to find him. Kathy and Roxanne had no problem with going back, as long as we could all go shopping afterward. We didn't actually get to the shopping part, because I got sick. I feel bad for ruining their shopping time.

We drove to the Fairplex, and went to the stables. Honza wasn't there, but
Terra had just gotten in with her horse, Dexter.
Terra
said that Honza would be in the demo that afternoon, but we wouldn't be able to
go because our plane left at 5:30.
We went to all the booths and gathered all the free samples and stuff we could. I really wasn't feeling well, but I asked if we could go back to the stables just one more time before we left. I gathered up all the energy I had, and we started walking over. Roxanne saw an orange tree that actually had oranges growing on it (what a concept!) and said to go ahead while she took a photo of it. As we were walking, I saw Honza coming our way. After he passed, I stopped Kathy and she asked, "wasn't that him?" We turned around and were following him. Roxanne came and looked puzzled that we were going the opposite direction of the stables. I pointed to Honza, and she immediatly ran yelling for him to stop. That was funny. So we caught up with him and Roxanne asked if he would sign my shirt. He signed it "Honza & Gaston"

I love to
draw, and at home I had drawn two pictures of Honza and Gaston sitting. He also
signed
those.
We flew back to Anchorage that night on the plane. I didn't get home until the next day, and I had lots of stories to tell my parents and sister. Aunt Kathy, Roxanne and I are deciding whether or not to make the Equine Affaire an annual event on our calendars, but we might not if the Parelli demos aren't going to be there.
