I got Staunton on October 28, 2001. He arrived at the place where I rode after a
6-day trailer ride along with Elisa, our Haflinger Mare.
Staunton is my equine partner. He has a very
high play drive, and easily gets
bored. He is an extremely curious
horse, so even if he is a bit
skeptical of something, he will
usually
investigate it.
He is so much fun, and has the most playful "horse-anality"
I have ever seen in
a horse. We have been having
very positive results with PNH. He
loves to play, and he is helping
me along my journey to become
a horse.woman! After
my dad built a barn, we moved the
horses
to our house. I got to know Staunton over the winter, mostly brushing him and
hanging around him. I had heard about PNH, but I didn't know much about it.
When summer rolled around, I wanted to be able to do more with him, so we got
the kits and started learning.
