Zaira
is Ailish's second filly born on our farm. She's a sweet smaller black and
white Gypsy filly who is following in both of her parents' models with an
abundant mane and tail. She was born with feathering already sprouted on her legs,
much like our colt Caspian.
We've
handled her since her first day on the ground so that she is used to
human contact, and she enjoys a good scratch now and then. She's
everything we're breeding for in the Gypsy horse, and so will be our
ambassador along with her full-sister
Isabella at the 2008 Ride the West horse expo in Spokane WA, May
16-18.
Zaira has
begun long line training in spring 2008 and will be started under saddle
soon.
